Candlelight Concert
Gothic Grandeur: Voices from the Great Cathedrals of Europe
Escape to a time when artists were heroes and the decorative masterpieces they created embodied the pride and ambition of a city's inhabitants; a time when church-building architecture was as ornate and elaborate as the very music it house, and composers were paid better than politicians. Join us now for an illuminating concert of chant and polyphony by candlelight, performed in some of our own architectural wonders! This special performance of ethereal vocal music (ca. 1200-1500) from English, Franco-Flemish, German and Spanish archives is produced in conjunction with the Getty Museum's Gothic Grandeur manuscript exhibition. Tickets will be available at the door or may be purchased online at the Rose Ensemble website:

The Singing Revolution: Songs of the Baltic Awakening
Can music really change the world? In 1989 it did as the people of Estonia, Lithuania, and Latvia joined hands in a peaceful revolution of song to gain their independence from the Soviet Union. Don't miss this inspiring story and the beautiful music of the Baltic states. Tickets will be available at the door or may be purchased online at the Cantus website:
