KELLY WAHLQUIST

Come hear Kelly's story on how her life went from wiping runny noses to running a Bible study for 600 people, and how the Lord showed her that He doesn't just call the equipped, he equips the called.

Kelly Wahlquist is a dynamic and inspiring Catholic author and speaker whose gift of weaving personal stories and Scripture together with practical advice allows her audience to enter more fully into what Pope Francis has called us to do—to live the joy of the Gospel with missionary zeal. Kelly is a wife, mother of three, inspiring Catholic author and speaker residing in Minnesota. She is the Assistant Director for the Archbishop Harry J. Flynn Catechetical Institute, founder of WINE: Women In the New Evangelization, and contributing writer for Catholicmom.com. LAURA SOBIECH

Laura Sobiech was born and raised in Minnesota. She has been married to her husband, Rob, for twenty-four years, and they are the proud parents of four awesome children: one married, one in college, one in heaven, and one in high school. Laura has spent the past couple of years crossing things off her I-Never-Want-To-Do List; now having done most everything that was on it, including globe trekking, public speaking, fundraising, Skype-ing on live television, and supporting a child with cancer. In her free time she volunteers as an EMT/firefighter at her local fire department and can knit a wicked awesome pair of socks.

OCTOBER 11, 2016
JEAN SHARON ABBOTT

Registration for this event has closed.
Jean Sharon Abbott was misdiagnosed as a young child with Spastic Dipligia, a form of Cerebral Palsy.  After 33 years of countless doctors visits, medical procedures, unnecessary medications and surgeries, she was correctly diagnosed with Dopa Responsive Dystonia (DRD). Jean enjoys all the adventures of her new life, but wouldn't change the journey that brought her to where she is today.  Her positive attitude is highly contagious as she encourages others to appreciate the little things in life.

DEB HADLEY

Deb Hadley is a noted inspirational speaker who has always had the gift to motivate others with her “can do” spirit and positive attitude.  Deb has been in the service of helping people all of her life, but nothing can compare to how Deb has handled the tragic loss of her 24-year-old daughter Kaylie and the sudden loss of her 20-year-old son Tyler within 9 months and 2 days of each other.  Through her immense pain she has found strength in the Lord and through His strength has turned her grief into grace by sharing her journey.
