Title: “The Acts of the Apostles and Evangelization”
Leader: Dr. Kristin Towle
Location: Room A14 (Big room in lower level)
Childcare & scholarships available.
About the Bible Study: Spend time with the Lord, listening to his words about his early Church and how it grew through evangelization, miracles, sacraments, love, persecution, martyrdom, the pope, bishops, deacons, and lay people, and the Holy Spirit's guidance in all truth. We will reflect on how Christ still spreads his gospel throughout the world today and how he calls each one of us to be not only his faithful disciples but also his bold apostles. Sessions will include prayer, a presentation, and time for group discussion and faith sharing.
About the Speaker: Dr. Kristin Towle is an adjunct professor at the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity and a mother of five. She received her Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Ave Maria University in 2010 and received a bachelor’s degree in Catholic Studies and Spanish with a minor in Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas. Dr. Towle has been an instructor at the School of Divinity since 2012, teaching courses on prayer leadership for lay ministry, Christian virtues, spiritual and personal formation, and has taught courses for the Office of Hispanic Ministries at the Archdiocese.
