Simon Society is a phone tree of volunteers who provide meals or other items of necessity for persons who have an unusual hardship.
St. Bartholomew has a large network of volunteers who are devoted to the ministry of prayer. To request prayers, click Prayer Network Request or call Merle Wilts, 952/417-9222 or the parish office, 952/473-6601.
A prayer shawl is a reminder of God’s ever-present love. St. Bart’s blesses parishioners facing serious illness or personal losses of many kinds with the gift of a handmade prayer shawl to reassure them that our prayers are with them and they are not alone. Once a shawl is completed by our parishioner volunteers, it’s blessed and then delivered to a person who needs to feel a special touch from God.
Mass intentions are available throughout the year. Contact Krystal, 952/473-6601, in the Parish Office to reserve a date.
The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is offered for those whose health is impaired by physical or mental illness. Private anointing can be arranged by request. Though chaplains are often available at hospitals, it is appropriate to celebrate the sacrament in the parish or at home with loved ones before major surgery. Our God and the Christian Community want to journey with you during these critical life events. Contact for Anointing of the Sick: Christine Ducharme, Director, Pastoral Care, 952/473-6601.
