The Respect Life Committee is dedicated to the belief that human life is a precious gift from God; that each person who receives this gift has responsibilities toward God, self, and others; and that society, through its laws and social institutions, must protect and nurture human life at every stage of its existence. These beliefs flow from ordinary reason and from our faith's constant witness that "life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception" (Pastoral Constitution on the Church in the Modern World, no. 51.)

Walk for LifePlease join the St. Bart's Respect Life Committee at this year's Walk for Life. The walk supports the life affirming work of the North Side Life Care Center, and includes free coffee, bagels, snacks and entertainment at the main beach, before an easy, level two mile stroll around the lake. Bring the whole family and come just for food and music, or get your morning walk, too! Carpooling will be available from the St. Bart's parking lot at 8:15 a.m. For more information, click here to link to the North Side Life Care Center website or call Kiki Batina, 952-476-6987.
