Vibrant liturgies in Word, witness, and sacred music are valued at St Bartholomew Catholic Faith Community. The Eucharist, the source and summit of the Christian life, transforms and sends forth the faithful to fulfill God's will in their daily lives.

The music that serves the liturgy at St. Bart’s comes from a wide variety of sources and is expressed in a wide variety of styles – plainsong chant, sturdy hymn, unaccompanied choral motet, gospel or African American spiritual, and contemporary songs of praise. It is music that hopes to inspire - to invite the worshiper into an encounter with the living God. Our music ministry is made of a dedicated group of adult singers who help lead the two liturgies on Sunday morning and all the major feasts of the church year. These singers are augmented by our instrumental ensemble. The Saturday liturgy is typically led by a cantor.
St. Bartholomew Catholic Faith Community offers the opportunity for prayer and meditation in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament: The First Friday of each month (September - May), from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Wednesdays during Faith Formation sessions, 4:30 - 7:30 p.m. Eucharistic Adoration has an urgent need for more committed, regular adorers on first Fridays. Liturgy of the Word for Children
For children in grades 1 through 5, this program is offered as part of the 8:30 and 10:30 Masses on Sundays. Right after the Introductory Rites of the Mass, children are called forward by our Pastor, and together with the adult coordinator and volunteers, are dismissed to the chapel to hear a special reflection on the Sunday Gospel in age-appropriate terms. Children then return to the congregation to celebrate the Liturgy of the Eucharist with their families. The program runs from the first week after Easter to Advent, and then from Epiphany (beginning of January) to Lent. No registration is needed.
