“The liturgy is the summit toward which the activity of the Church is directed,
at the same time it is the fount from which all the Church’s power flows.”

                                                Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy

At Saint Bartholomew, Sunday Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith experience and is at the heart of who we are as a parish community.

It is liturgy that is an encounter with the living God. It is liturgy that is welcoming of strangers. It is liturgy that values the full, conscious, and active participation of the assembly. It is liturgy in which the preaching seeks to connect scripture to people’s present lived reality. It is liturgy that is an integral part of the rhythm of people’s lives and seeks to transform how people are in the world.
