Friends of St. John – Caregiver Support Group

Wednesday, March 12, 6:00 PM - Wednesday, March 12, 7:15 PM

A caregiver is a relative, friend, or neighbor, who goes above and beyond the ordinary requirements we all have to care for someone young, old, ill, or disabled.  Oftentimes these will be parents and spouses.

In the spirit of the Lord’s invitation to those who serve him to come away and rest awhile (Mark 6:31), you are invited to spend six consecutive Wednesday evenings being refreshed and renewed in the important work you do to provide care.  The format of each evening will include an original reflection by Fr. Bobby covering a variety of dimensions of caregiving from both scriptural/theological and psychological perspectives.  The evening will include a half-hour of time for your own private prayer, and then conclude with a group discussion.

Each session will start at 6PM and last for one hour and fifteen minutes.
