A Festival of Lessons and Carols is one of the best-loved and most widely-imitated Christmas traditions in churches of many denominations. Its great recognition is due, in large part, to the annual service held at King’s College, Cambridge, England on Christmas Eve since 1918 and which has been broadcast throughout the world since 1928 by the British Broadcasting Corporation.
