This year’s theme: Encountering the Living God

This year is going to be grace-filled, with Father’s 3 Es, the Archdiocesan Synod, and national calls for a Eucharistic Revival. Several of our favorite offerings will be back for another vibrant year. Dynamic speakers and lively conversation will draw us deeper into the healing, transformative love of Christ while also helping us to build meaningful relationships and strengthen our sense of community.

If you are looking for ways to deepen your faith, connect with friends, or even just enjoy a good night of food and fellowship, please join us for any or all of the below events!

Whether you are a long time member of our parish or are curious to check out our community for the first time, we would love to meet you!

Healing and Hope in His Presence

Presence Nights

3rd Thursdays | 7:00 PM

Our bishops are calling us to draw close to Christ in the Eucharist and the Blessed Sacrament to rediscover His tremendous transformative power. Modeled on the Parish Mission, these nights will help us to em-brace the healing and hope that comes from Christ’s presence through worship, teaching, adoration, and prayer ministry.

A glass of wine and lively conversation

Wine Wit & Wisdom

2nd Thursdays | 6:30 PM

Join us for the next installment of our popular Wine, Wit, and Wisdom series! This year, we will explore important topics that help us embrace the fullness of life that Christ intends for each of us. We will discuss enhancing our mental and physical health, cultivating strong relationships, and talking through key cultural and civic issues—all with wine, friends, and fun.  This series is BYOB, with the parish providing light hors d’oeuvres.

Dive Deep into the Word

Bible Study

Tuesday | 11 am - noon @ Folkestone
Tuesday | 6:45 - 8 pm @ St. Bart’s

A long-time favorite of the St. Bart’s community, we are happy to announce that Bible Study is returning to St. Bart’s this fall. Embracing our theme of Encountering the Living God, this year’s bible study will explore several of Paul’s Epistles and also the Gospel of John. Along the way, we will learn how to engage Sacred Scripture as the Living Word, better understand its meaning and context, and talk about practical ways to grow in the spiritual life and embrace Christ’s call to be disciples.

Connect and Grow

Small Groups

As part of the Archdiocesan Synod, we are looking for leaders to start small groups this year. Meet for coffee, gather for a meal, or share your passion for gardening. Whatever it is that moves you, St. Bart’s would love to help you find other parishioners who share the same passion. Look for details soon to sign up to lead a group or send us an idea for one you would like to join.

Catechetical Institute: Pillars Program

The Catechetical Institute’s Pillars program is a two year offering designed for Catholic adults who wish to deepen their knowledge of the Catholic faith and further their spiritual formation. Taught by some of the most esteemed teachers in the Twin Cities—notable names such as Jeff Cavins and our own Fr. John Klockeman—this dynamic program features vibrant instruction and lively small group discussion to lead students into a fuller understanding of Church teaching and help them on their journey to heaven.

St. Bart’s will be a satellite location for the Catechetical Institute Pillars program that runs from Fall ‘22 to Spring ‘24. For more information, visit http://www.cistudent.com/st-bartholomew/. Note that registration has closed.
