Program Overview
St. Bart’s Growing In Faith Together (G.I.F.T) Faith Formation program serves families with children in preschool-grade 5. We are interested in helping parents and their children grow in their faith by sharing resources, activities, and experiences that will provide a foundation to live as life-long disciples. We start the new school year with an Opening Kick-off Service project – making meat & cheese sandwiches for the Sandwich Project of MN. Sign up for the sandwich Project.
Typical Sunday Timeline:
9:00am Breakfast provided by St. Bart’s
9:15am Large Group Presentation and/or Activity
Group prayer led by children, liturgically-themed activity, announcements, service and prayer opportunities
9:30am Age-specific Small Group Lesson:
10:15am Children returned to large group room for pick-up by parents/guardian
10:30am Attend Mass with family* (can also attend 5:00pm Saturday Mass)
Volunteer as a Catechist in Faith Formation (1-5)
The Faith Formation ministry is looking for adult and senior high school volunteers (especially those in Confirmation preparation to lead or co-lead small groups of children in grades 1-5 To sign up, contact Susie Osacho, 952-745-4574.
