High School Youth Ministry - CORE Team

About High School Ministry at St. Bart’s:
Welcome! We are delighted that you are considering St. Bart's for your High School student. We believe that each and every student is a unique expression of God’s love designed to know Christ, be transformed by His presence, and sent out to share Him with those in need. Our greatest joy and deepest fulfillment lies in His purposes for our life and we desire that our High Schoolers discover and pursue the fullness of life that God intends for them.
What is the High School CORE Team?
We invite all high schoolers to join our CORE team, where they can learn to live out their faith as part of a community of peers and be leaders both within the Church and beyond. The High School CORE team nights begin with 5pm Sunday evening mass at St. Bart’s, followed by a meeting from 6:15pm until approximately 8pm. Fun activities, fellowship, worship, prayer, formation, and small-group sharing help the students deepen their relationship with Christ while building healthy, meaningful connections with their fellow students.
To grow as leaders, we also invite CORE team members to also help put on our middle school nights. These nights offer a great opportunity to learn to walk out their call as disciples of Christ to evangelize and embrace life in the Holy Spirit! They also help our students build authentic friendships rooted in faith as they continue to discover their unique gifts and talents.

Local Events
Beyond our local offerings at St. Bart’s, we are also attending several local events to help our students deepen their faith and connect with other on fire Catholic teens throughout the Twin Cities.
NET Lifeline
Hosted by NET Ministries in West Saint Paul, Lifeline is a dynamic Saturday night event for High Schoolers that features praise and worship, a presentation, Mass, and Adoration. The night runs from 6-9:30 pm and we will be meeting at St. Bart’s at 4:30pm to depart as a group. You can check the St. Bart’s calendar for dates and sign ups will be posted before each event. NET Lifeline is finished for the 2023-2024 year, but we will post 2024-2025 dates when they are released.
Wherever your teen is in their faith journey—whether they wonder if God is even real or have been walking with Him for years—they are welcome!
Youth Ministry and Confirmation
All Confirmation candidates are encouraged to also participate in St. Bart’s Youth Ministry program, either through the Middle School offering or with the High School CORE team as is appropriate to their age. The chance to cultivate a deeper connection with Christ and stronger friendships with Catholic peers helps students embrace the beautiful, life-long adventure with Christ that begins in Confirmation.
2023-24 Costs:
High school CORE team registration costs for 2023-24 will be $75 for each student. Students can also enroll for both CORE team and Confirmation Preparation using the registration button above. Please note that also registering for Confirmation Preparation will incur an additional fee and that the program has its own requirements which can be found here.
Scholarships are also available, should you need. Please contact the parish office at 952-473-6601 for more information.

Extreme Faith Camp 2024
Extreme Faith Camp is the premier high adventure camp packed with incredible activities! Zip line, private beach with inflatables, canoeing, and more!
Extreme Faith Camp is integrated closely with other parishes from the Archdiocese, guaranteeing that summer camp is not just a mountaintop faith experience, but one that builds lifelong foundations of faith. Our faith programming is founded in the sacramental life of the Catholic Church, and our mission and work is anything but boring.
