My name is Scott Brazil, and I am excited and honored to join the St. Bart's parish team as the Director of Pastoral Care! I have been working in Catholic parish and education ministry for nearly 30 years, most recently at Pax Christi in Eden Prairie. My wife, Jamie, and I live in Jordan. We have two beautiful daughters, Alayna (age 20) and Sofia (age 17), along with a dog and four cats.
In addition to my parish ministry, I am connected to the Contemplative Discipleship initiative at St. Catherine's University in St. Paul, through which I convene groups to support their prayer practices as well as their call to missionary discipleship. I am currently working on a Doctor of Education in Leadership through Saint Mary's University, with the hope being that I can become better equipped to help the laity live out their baptismal call as servant leaders. I look forward to getting to know this beautiful community of faith!
